Here at Artisan we offer our clients a variety of different storage methods to facilitate any storage requirement that they may ever have
We can store pretty much any commodity safely and securely
Popular commodities include, art storage, furniture storage, archive material, collections, high value items, large and awkward items and stock items
No storage requirement is ever 100 percent the same, and so us offering different facilities and methods to facilitate storage, means that our clients always get the correct storage option for them… and at the correct cost.
All of our storage premises meet all the appropriate industry standards in terms of fire precautions, security, pest and animal controls and temperature humidty controls
Storage options include:
Steel containerised
We can offer a fully fireproof, high security storage experience via traditional 20 foot steel shipping containers
All containers are housed inside a central london warehouse to ensure regulated ambient storage conditions and all containers are moved internally only via a computer operated container crane
The containers can be accessed via the warehouse floor or via our numerous loading bays. Each bay in individually locked when not being used and has a modern lock leveller to make loading and unloading streamlined and simple.
There is also an inspection area at the front of the containers should it ever be required, to show and display objects in storage to clients or to facilitate internal stock checks/audits on storage etc.
Each 20 foot container’s internal dimensions are 19' 4” ft long x 7' 9” ft wide x 7' 10” ft high and each have a usable capacity inside of 155 square feet (30 cubic metres)
Security wise, the containers are locked after every access and then stored 6 containers high with no alleyways in between the containers, making access to the goods impossible, unless access is booked in and the box brought down for inspection via computer
We can also offer racking inside the container to further maximise space, if this is ever required
These containers also have a 10 tonne payload limit (so perfect for storing heavy and larger items)
Wooden containerised
We also offer a more traditional storage experience via wooden storage boxes
All boxes are stored in ambient storage conditions
The boxes can be accessed via the warehouse floor or via modern levelling loading bay(s) when things come in/out of storage via the warehouse, so no concern of sharing lifts/corridors/loading bays like you would at a self storage facility
Each wooden container’s dimensions are 5 ft deep x 6 ft 11” wide x 7 ft 5” high and each has a usable capacity equal to 35 square feet (7 cubic metres), so a real cost effective space for the smallest of consignments
Security wise, the boxes are sealed after every access and then stored 5 boxes high with no alleyways in-between, making access to goods impossible, unless access is booked in and the box brought down for inspection by a forklift
These containers have a 350kg limit so better suited for medium/ smaller items
Private Storage bays
We also offer a more modern storage experience via varied sized private bays
These private bays rooms offer much more accessibility via our NW10 location. Goods can be accessed within a hour of a request in most cases.
All our rooms offer ambient storage conditions and range from 50 square foot right upto 150 square foot
